Description

This LiDAR Time of Flight Sensor is based on the TF Mini-Plus Time of Flight (ToF) Sensor with the addition of a TTL to RS485 auto flow converter. This allows this sensor to be connect to your PLC or microcontroller using up to 2000 feet of Cat-5 wire with RJ45 connectors. Note that this Sensor requires either the RS-485 Bus Extender Receiver  (model: AIOT-RS485BE5) or the In-Line RS485 Bus extender Receiver  (model: AIOT-RS485ILBE5) endpoint to connect with your microcontroller. Unit is capable of measuring the distance to an object as close as 10 centimeters (+/- 5cm up to 6m) and as far as 12 meters (+/-1% starting at 6m) with a field of view (FoV) 3.6 degrees.  As with all LiDAR sensors, your effective detection distance will vary depending on lighting conditions and the reflectivity of your target object.
