This allows this sensor to be connect to your PLC or microcontroller using up to 2000 feet of Cat-5 wire with RJ45 connectors. Note that this Sensor requires either the RS-485 Bus Extender Receiver\u00a0 (model: AIOT-RS485BE5) or the In-Line RS485 Bus extender Receiver\u00a0 (model: AIOT-RS485ILBE5) endpoint to connect with your microcontroller.
