This infrared Time of Flight Sensor is based on the Evo-Mini ToF Sensor with the addition of an I2C differential bus extender. This allows this sensor to be connect to your PLC or microcontroller using up to 100 feet of Cat-5 wire with RJ45 connectors. Note that this unit requires the Differential I2C Bus Extender Receiver (model: AIOT-I2CBER5) endpoint to connect to you microcontroller. Unit has a range between 3 centimeters up to 3.3 meters and a field of view (FoV) 27 degrees. This unit is ideal for measure non-flat surfaces such as grain containers.
